thoughts on valentine’s day
these days im kinda indifferent about the whole valentine’s day ordeal and yes there were times where i’ve been bitter and on the retail holiday bandwagon but i get it.
granted i’ve never really had the distinct pleasure/misfortune some people have experienced on the most romantic day of the year but i feel like some people really put the effort into one day when it should be spread across all the days you’re with someone. the day shouldn’t be anymore special than any other day you get to spend with someone you are in love with ya know?
i dunno just random thoughts and i hope whoever reads this has a fantastic day tomorrow or if you already celebrated i hope you had a great time! surely i’d enjoy sharing it with someone special but spreading the love to all the people in my life is something i do on a daily basis <3
